The Freedom of Information Round Robin list is circulated twice weekly to departments. The Cabinet Office will not be placing the most recent copy of the list in the Library as it would likely prejudice the effective conduct of public affairs by inhibiting the free and frank provision of advice. The Cabinet Office will disclose Round Robin lists in response to Freedom of Information requests where the public interest weighs in favour of doing so. The most recent disclosure was in May 2026.

From 3 September 2025 to 3 September 2026, the Ministry of Justice responded to 5,426 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. In 2025, the Ministry of Justice received the second highest volume of FOIA requests for a Government department. As of 3 September 2026, there were 771 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests that have been received by the Ministry of Justice and had not yet been responded to. The table below notes the volumes of cases that were received per the time period categories requested.

The information requested in Freedom of Information request FOI2026/09619, the Valuation Office’s Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) for the 2026 business rates revaluation, has already been disclosed under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Disclosure under the Act is a disclosure to the public at large, rather than solely to the individual requester. Although the Valuation Office does not intend to publish the response proactively, a copy of the disclosed information can be provided to anyone who requests it, and a copy will be added to the House of Commons Library.
