Proceeding contribution from David Leslie Taylor (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 16 July 2008. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Road Safety.
Road Safety
I am grateful to the hon. Gentleman for giving way and for raising the point that I put to him a moment ago. When the Minister replies about the possibility of English local authorities acting similarly to those in Wales and Scotland, does the hon. Gentleman hope that the Minister will mention what the statistics suggest both about the scheme's success, and about the accident rates that are associated with the young drivers who undertake the pass plus training that the hon. Gentleman and I both think is very helpful?
