To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, how many staff are employed by HM Treasury to work towards meeting the target under (a) Objective 3 and (b) Objective 10 in the 2004 Departmental Review; what the expected salary cost of employing those staff in 2004-05 is in each case; and what the total expected costs of working towards each target are for 2004-05. - Ref to Department's resource accounts.

Mr. Flight: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many staff are employed by HM Treasury to work towards meeting the target under (a) Objective 3 and (b) Objective 10 in the 2004 departmental review; what the expected salary cost of employing those staff in 2004-05 is in each case; and what the total expected costs of working towards each target are for 2004-05.
