Sir Teddy Taylor: To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage what is the total sum contributed by the national lottery to organisations, groups and charities in the borough of Southend-on-Sea. [7613] Mrs. Bottomley: Twelve national lottery awards have been made in the borough of Southend-on-Sea with a total value of £2.3 million.
