- To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office how many officials in his Department have responsibility for devolution policy.

My right hon. Friend, the Deputy Prime Minister, has responsibility for devolution policy and is supported in this by a team of three officials who are also responsible for managing the UK's interests in relation to the British-Irish Council. The Cabinet Secretariat, also part of the Cabinet Office, supports inter-administration relationships through the Joint Ministerial Committee process.
