To comment on what studies DOE has made of practice in other countries re use of economic instruments as a means to deliver policies to protect environment; & what plans DOE has to make use of such measures in UK. - Incls ref to report of recent study by Environmental Resources Ltd. which examines uses which 10 selected countries make of charges & subsidies as means of pollution control - in Library (DEP 5678).
