LUCY LAYTON AND SYRIA RELIEF

That this House congratulates Lucy Layton and her band on their fundraising efforts for Syria Relief; notes that the band have released a charity single, I'd like to teach the world to sing, with all proceeds going to Syria Relief and, specifically, the Step Forward campaign which raises money for prosthetic limbs for children injured by the war in Syria; further notes that the band performed at Syria Relief's Step Forward Event at the Shard in London, with the proceeds from ticket sales going to the campaign; and recognises the important contribution made by Lucy Layton and her band in raising both awareness and funds for the victims of the crisis in Syria.
