The Home Office delivers a wide range of communications activity and campaigns to support its priorities, including public information and behaviour-change communications. We have interpreted your request to mean the total outturn spend on communications campaigns in support of the department's priorities.
The total expenditure on marketing and advertising campaigns was £12,192,369 in 2024–25 and £17,989,496 in 2025–26 (rounded to nearest pound).

The Home Office held a dedicated contract with Kindred Agency Ltd to provide public relations services, between the dates of 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2026. The contract was in place to support a wide range communications activity on priority policy areas. From 1 July 2024 to the end of the contract, total net expenditure through the contract was £369,553.

The Home Office is committed to providing timely responses to correspondence from members of the public and Members of Parliament. Performance against service standards is kept under review, and the Department continually reviews its processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce response times.

The Home Office occupies premises owned, leased, and managed by the Government Property Agency (GPA), which is responsible for building assets, including the installation and use of rooftop solar panels.
The Home Office is engaging with GPA through its Net Zero Programme to track progress in this area and understands GPA intends to undertake feasibility studies and energy audits at a number of sites during this financial year to assess opportunities for rooftop solar panel installation.

We expect everyone who comes to the UK to abide by our laws. If they do not, they will face consequences, including the refusal of their asylum claim and removal from the UK. These resources were produced for asylum seekers so there can be no possible misunderstanding of what we expect. They are setting out something most people in this country would regard as common sense, but we would rather be completely clear about our expectations than leave any room for ambiguity. The products have not been developed on the basis that asylum seekers are more likely to commit sexual or criminal offences than the general public.

Following a review in late 2025 it was concluded that the original aims of Bridging Accommodation and Services Project (BASP) were no longer achievable. The value for money case for BASP no longer stood, and the project no longer aligned with the Home Office’s strategic objectives.
