That this House welcomes the launch of the Hansard Society report on Wednesday 16th March with the findings of the recent online consultation on diabetes undertaken in partnership with the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Diabetes and Sanofi-Aventis; stresses the significance of the consultation in capturing the experience of 350 people and providing a unique grass-roots debate on diabetes service delivery and attainment of optimal glucose control as measures by a target HbA1c level; and calls on the Government to study the report and take its recommendations on the full implementation of the National Service Framework for Diabetes into consideration.
