The number of defendants proceeded against at magistrates courts and offenders found guilty at all courts for rape and for all sexual offences, in the Dorset police force area, from 2010 to 2012 (the latest available) can be viewed in the table.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what representations he has received from GP surgeries wishing to participate in the extended-hours pilot scheme for GPs in the Dorset area.
NHS England has yet to receive any representations from general practitioners (GPs) in the Dorset area who wish to participate in the scheme.
More details on the process for selecting and supporting the pilot sites will be set out in December by NHS England, who will work with a wide range of professional organisations and an external reference group to identify innovative GP practices.

Although Public Health England (PHE) does not routinely collect comprehensive data on all hospital-acquired infections, as part of its mandatory surveillance programmes it does collect data on Meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) bacteraemia, Clostridium difficile infection (CDI), Meticillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) bacteraemia and Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteraemia at the level of each acute NHS trust.
The data summarised in the following table, taken from this surveillance programme, represent the total number of trust apportioned cases of MRSA bacteraemia, CDI and MSSA bacteraemia and all cases of E. coli bacteraemia from three acute national health service trusts in Dorset over the last three years (where data are available).
Trust apportioned cases represent infections that were probably acquired in the reporting trust during the present admission, as determined by PHE. Three years of data are presented for MRSA bacteraemia and CDI, two years for MSSA bacteraemia and one year for E. coli bacteraemia in line with commencement of data collection for the latter.

Border Force employs 47 members of staff in the Poole constituency who also cover Dorset. The 47 border force staff are deployed, from Poole, to the ports and airports in the Dorset area.

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change what steps his Department is taking to make it easier for customers to switch their energy suppliers in Dorset; and if he will make a statement.
The Government is providing legislative backing to Ofgem's retail market review measures which will simplify and standardise tariff structures and require suppliers to provide consumers with clearer and better quality information so that it will be easier for all consumers to compare tariffs. We are also bringing
forward legislation which will require suppliers to included QR codes which link to a customers' data to make the process even easier.
The Government is providing extra help and advice to vulnerable consumers through the Big Energy Saving Network to help them engage with the energy market and to give them the confidence to take decisions that will reduce their bills.
The Government has also been instrumental in providing support to collective switching schemes. Earlier this year the Government kick-started a number of innovative projects through the £5 million Cheaper Energy Together competition. Money was awarded to 31 successful projects that all focused on engaging vulnerable consumers.
The Government is also discussing with the industry how we can cut the time it takes for a switching to be completed and has expressed an ambition of 24 hour switching.

Dorset county council entered into a contract earlier this year to extend superfast broadband coverage to over 70,000 premises that would otherwise not have it. The project is currently in the survey and design phase, prior to network implementation.

DEFRA continues to support the UK dairy industry's work in a number of key areas. We have given our full support to the dairy industry's Code of Best Practice for Contractual Relations. The Code already covers in excess of 85% of raw milk production in the UK and is helping to improve contractual relationships between farmers and milk buyers.
The Government is also providing £5 million worth of new funding under the Rural Economy Grant Scheme for high quality dairy projects which can help dairy farmers explore the potential in new markets through support for collaboration and marketing.
DEFRA, in partnership with UKTI, has developed the Government's ‘Exports Action Plan' for driving export growth across all farming, food, and drink sectors. The dairy industry has also established the first “Dairy Exports Forum” which is fully supported by this Department.
