That this House welcomes the release of documents concerning US relations with Chile, which are being deposited in the National Archives in Chile; believes that the uncovering of the truth concerning military oppression in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay is best served by the release of all documents held by other governments; and accordingly calls on the British Government to waive the thirty year rule and publish all documents it holds concerning relations with Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay during the years of their military dictatorships and any other documents relating to Operation Condor.
