That this House believes that the persistent refusal of the Government to publish current electoral registration figures for district council areas and parliamentary constituencies is a constitutional disgrace which is compounded by the fact that the nation has now moved into an official district council election period and that a general election could be called before the figures are due to be released; and further calls for the immediate publication of the total electoral registration figures for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as a prelude to the publication of all the required figures.
