In response to representations made by Salmon & Trout Association, & Atlantic Salmon Trust & other allied bodies Govt decided that weekly close time should be increased to 60 hours with effect from 6 May as provided for in Salmon (Weekly Close Time) (Scotland) Regulations 1988 (SI 1988 No 390)
