The rates of both general betting duty and bingo duty were set by the previous Government. Bingo duty is charged at 20% of gross profits and general betting duty is charged at 15% of gross profits. At Budget 2013 the Government left rates unchanged.
All taxes, including general betting duty and bingo duty, are kept under review.
