The Ministry of Justice's implementation of the 2005 Manchester Declaration, and of the 2009 Malmo Declaration and eGovernment Action Plan which supersede it, follows the Government's approach to Digital by Default as recommended by Martha Lane Fox as UK Digital Champion in her report published in November 2010. The Ministry of Justice digital strategy will be published alongside the Government digital strategy in December 2012.
Progress on the Digital Agenda can be seen across the Ministry, including increased use of video services, enablement of digital working in the courts, and improved digital sharing of information across the CJS.
