west midlands, south-west, east anglia and rest of south-east) from the 1991 English house condition survey the figures for (a)
construction date by tenure, (b) unfitness by tenure, (c) worst or best condition by tenure, (d) unfit vacants by tenure, (e)
unfitness by dwelling type and tenure, (f) reason for vacancy by tenure and (g) variation of general comprehensive and urgent repair
costs by tenure. [20217]
Mr. Clappison: Tables (a), (b), (c) and (g) are presented as requested. The information requested in (d) is part of table (b). The
sample of dwellings surveyed in the 1991 English house condition survey is too small to provide (e) and (f).
