Dr. Fox: To ask the Prime Minister what guidance has been given to Ministers in replying to letters from Members of the Scottish
Parliament on matters reserved under the Scotland Act 1998. [84910]
The Prime Minister: [holding answer 21 May 1999]:
Guidance on handling correspondence from Members of the Scottish Parliament--and from Members of the National Assembly for Wales and
the Northern Ireland Assembly--will be issued to all Government Departments. Copies of the guidance will be placed in the Libraries
of both Houses.
