Professor Sir Ara Darzi has made a statement setting out how he will combine the two roles. He will not draw a salary or accept any other payments from the NHS. Income generated from his international and non-NHS practice will be paid direct to Imperial College. Other interests will be handled in accordance with the Ministerial Code.
