To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions for what reasons figures on lone parents receiving jobseeker’s allowance have not yet been published; and when he expects such figures to be released.

On 15 May 2013, statistics on the number of lone parents receiving jobseeker’s allowance was released at:

Due to a data supply problem, these statistics were not updated on 12 June 2013. The Department is working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue and further updates will be issued at:
www.gov.uk
and in the ‘Welfare and Benefits’ community at:
http://www.statsusernet.org.uk/Home/
