Riot (Damages) Act 1886

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department pursuant to the answer of 17 December 2012, Official Report, column 502W, on the Riot Damages Act 1886, whether the planned independent review into the Riot Damages Act will involve public consultation.

Answer

I refer the right hon. Member to the answer given on 17 December 2012, Official Report, column 502W. The outcomes of the independent review will be used to shape any future public consultation on possible changes to the legislation.
