To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change when he intends to publish his Department's consultation on potential policy approaches for electricity demand reduction.

Following the publication in July of the assessment promised in the EMR White Paper to determine whether DECC should take further steps to improve the support and incentives for the efficient use of electricity we committed to consult on measures later this year and we intend to do so shortly.
