To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what discussions her Department has had with the telecare and telecoms industries on enabling network operators to safely move telecare customers between networks.

The Fixed Telecoms Modernisation Charter, published in March 2026, includes a commitment by communication providers and network operators to work together to ensure the safe migration of telecare users between networks. Engagement between the Department and industry is ongoing.
