Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what is her timeline for ending the culling of male chicks in the egg industry.

Answer

The Government wishes to encourage the egg industry to end the practice of killing day-old chicks but no timeline for the transition has been established.
