Agriculture: Robotics

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what steps her Department is taking to ensure that farmers in Buckinghamshire can benefit from Government funding in agricultural robotics.

Answer

The Government is supporting the development and adoption of agricultural robotics through the Farming Innovation Programme. Through this programme, farmers, growers, foresters, researchers and businesses across England, including in Buckinghamshire, can apply for funding to develop, test and adopt innovative robotic and automated technologies that improve productivity, sustainability and resilience.
