To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, whether he has had recent discussions with Royal Mail on confidence in the postal system for (a) applications to vote and (b) postal votes.

Officials in the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities meet regularly with the Royal Mail to discuss matters relating to elections.
As part of the usual engagement ahead of the scheduled May polls I will be meeting with the Chief Executive and other representatives from Royal Mail later this month.
