Coronavirus: Vaccination

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will make it the policy of the NHS to collect multi-dose vaccine phials which have been used at vaccination hubs so that they can be sterilised for reuse.

As set out in the COVID-19 Waste Management Standard Operating Procedure, vaccine vials contaminated with pharmaceuticals are classified as medicinal waste and should be disposed of accordingly. We have no plans to amend this guidance.
