Combined Authorities: Dorset

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, if he will place in the Library a copy of the application from the nine Dorset Councils to establish a combined authority for Dorset from April 2017; and whether he intends to establish that combined authority.

Answer

We expect to reach our decision early in the new year on the Dorset councils’ proposal to establish a combined authority. The documents are publicly available on - https://www.dorsetforyou.gov.uk/dorset-combined-authority
