Green Investment Bank

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, with reference to his statement on 25 June 2015, HCWS54 on the Green Investment Bank, what discussions he plans to have with (a) business organisations, (b) green investors and (c) environmental groups before making a final decision to move that Bank into private ownership.

Answer

I appreciate there is widespread interest in the future of UK Green Investment Bank plc. Both the Government and the company will continue to be as transparent as possible about plans for the company’s future.
