Child Benefit: Foreign Nationals

Question: To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to the Answer of 21 March 2016 to Question 29775, in what format information is held on the value of child benefit claims in respect of children living in another EEA country or Switzerland.

Answer: Around 7m people are receiving Child Benefit. To extract and collate the value of all payments made to EU migrants for children living outside the UK in the format requested could only be provided at disproportionate cost.
