Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how each new grade on which new entrants to the Coastguard Service are employed compares with the mainstream, non-maritime Civil Service equivalents.

Answer

The Civil Service grades for the new Coastguard roles, which all successful candidates either new entrants or existing Coastguards, are appointed to are as follows:
