Proceeding contribution from Andrew Dismore (Labour) in the House of Commons on Friday, 5 February 2010. It occurred during Debate on bill on Damages (Asbestos-Related Conditions) (No.2) Bill.
Damages (Asbestos-Related Conditions) (No.2) Bill
With the leave of the House, Mr. Deputy Speaker. I am grateful for comments from Members from across the House. We have aired the issue yet again; I have lost count of the number of times that we have debated pleural plaques in the House. I am not sure that I have added greatly to the knowledge of the House or the general public, but we emphasised some of the arguments, and I hope that the House will give the Bill a fair wind. Question put and agreed to. Bill accordingly read a Second time. Ordered, That the Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House.
