Question
To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, if he will make a statement about the participation of SEEDA in the next round of SRB bids; which RDAs will not be participating in the next round of SRB bids.
Answer

Mr. Loughton: To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions (1) if he will make a statement about the participation of SEEDA in the next round of SRB bids; [147238] (2) which RDAs will not be participating in the next round of SRB bids. [147239] Ms Armstrong: As already announced by my right hon. Friend the Deputy Prime Minister the Single Regeneration Budget will be brought into the Regional Development Agencies' (RDAs) Single Budget from April 2002. Detailed arrangements for the transitional year 2001-02 are being considered and an announcement will be made very shortly. All RDAs, including SEEDA, will be invited to administer these arrangements.
