Mr. Brake: To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions how staff numbers in his Department have varied between 1 May 1997 and 31 March 1998. [48875] Angela Eagle: My Department does not hold data for the dates specified and could not obtain them without disproportionate cost.
