Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer to the honourable Member for Mid-Bedfordshire (318 c414-5W of 2nd November 1998, on nuclear, chemical and biological weapons in the former Soviet Union how much financial assistance has been (i) provided to date and (ii) committed in the future, to the International Science and Technology Centre; and how much financial investment has been committed to studying options for the disposal of surplus defence plutonium in Russia; and which British experts are involved in this study and to what timetable they are working. - Will write.
