Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food

Question
What plans he has to reform the system of milk quotas. (Failed OPQ).
Answer

Mr. Alasdair Morgan: To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what plans he has to reform the system of milk quotas. [7303] Dr. Jack Cunningham: Reforming the CAP dairy regime and its system of milk quotas is a high priority for the Government. I shall continue to press in the Agriculture Council for cuts in support prices and the removal of quotas, to be accompanied by time limited, degressive and non-discriminatory aid payments to dairy farmers, decoupled from production, in order to facilitate adjustment to these reforms.
