Diabetes: Health Services
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Health what steps he is taking to address any discrepancies between figures from the National Diabetes Audit and the Quality and Outcomes Framework achievement data.
- Answer
-
Departmental officials are working with the Health and Social Care Information Centre to understand the reasons for the differences between figures from both data sources. Variation in figures could be ascribable to differences in scope and data assessment methodology. We will work with stakeholders to understand the reasons for the differences and to identify what needs to be done as a result.
