- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether any citizen of Commonwealth countries of Tamil ethnicity booked on a chartered flight to Sri Lanka by the UK Border Agency on 16 June 2011 attempted acts of self-harm before take-off of the flight; and if she will make a statement.

The UK Border Agency records details of individuals on the basis of nationality only, rather than ethnicity.One subject attempted an act of self-harm prior to the flight. He was confirmed by a medical practitioner as being fit to travel.
