To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what her Department's policy is on permitting the Forestry Commission to introduce car parking charges in the New Forest; and if she will make a statement.
Answer

[holding answer 8 February 2011]: The introduction of car parking charges on the public forestry estate is an operational matter for the Forestry Commissioners.
