- To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions whether his Department is contributing to the £140 million fund announced on 6th June 2008 to encourage local authorities to offer free swimming.

The Department has committed £22 million towards the £140 million fund over the period of the 2007 comprehensive spending review.
