Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills what steps his Department is taking to increase the number of students studying science at A-level.
Answer

The Government set out a range of initiatives in the ‘Science and Innovation Investment Framework 2004-2014: Next Steps’ document which should encourage the study of science to A level and beyond.
