Care Vouchers

Question
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what assessment he has made of the economic case for the use of care vouchers to help employees with caring responsibilities to purchase additional care and support for the person to whom they provide care.
Answer

The Government have no plans to introduce care vouchers in this area but it is always willing to listen to representations.The Government have to look carefully at the costs and benefits of any proposal when making an assessment of the economic case for intervention.
