Oral question asked in the House of Commons, by John Bercow (Conservative). It was answered on Monday, 27 March 2006 on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.
Educational Qualifications
- Question
- The Minister's reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Kettering (Mr. Hollobone) was insubstantial and unsatisfactory. The period of time between infantry deployments is three months shorter than the publicly stated target of the Ministry of Defence. That must have some impact. What quantitative or qualitative assessment has the hon. Gentleman made?
- Answer
-
The shortness of the answer does not in any way undermine its quality. I hope the hon. Gentleman accepts that. However, I will take his point on board and further consider his comments and those of the hon. Member for Kettering (Mr. Hollobone). If appropriate action is needed in terms of writing to them, then I will certainly do that.
